Boutique Homes and Homebuyers Centre will donate $1000 from every home sale in January and February 2011, to the Red Cross Flood Appeal, to assist and support victims of the Victorian floods. Boutique Homes and Homebuyers Centre are proudly part of the ABN Group, Australia’s leading residential building company. The Group have recently pledged a minimum guarantee of $500,000 to the Salvation Army Queensland Flood Appeal to help rebuild the lives of Queenslanders affected by the major disaster. Boutique Homes, Managing Director, Aidan Hooper said the decision to help had been made after seeing the devastation caused by the recent torrential rains and realising the extent of the tragedy. “It’s been shocking and distressing to see hundreds of homes destroyed. With so many fellow Victorians homeless as a result we feel compelled to help those affected by this tragic event.” “As builders, we feel a strong affinity with those who are in desperate need of shelter and a roof over their heads which is why we want to help them to get back into a home of their own as soon as possible.” Building over 3,500 homes per year, the ABN Group encompasses eight building companies, including local Victorian companies, Boutique Homes and Homebuyers Centre.
