Stamp Duty Concessions

As a first home owner, in addition to the First Home Owners Grant, and First Home Owners Bonus for New Homes, there are generous concessions when it comes to Stamp Duty on your vacant land purchase. For settlement dates from 1 July, 2011, first home owners are eligible for cuts to land transfer duty when purchasing homes worth up to $600,000. The concession begins with a 20% cut, a saving of approximately $3000 on a property valued at $400,000.
