First-homebuyer, your nest is on the house

The chance to win a home – that’s the prize on offer from Homebuyers Centre for one lucky first-homebuyer.

“To buy your first home can be tough financially for a lot of people, so as the leaders in the first-homebuyer market, (we thought) why not give one away,” said Jared Stone, Homebuyers Centre sales and marketing manager.

The prize is the builder’s Topaz home, a compact three-bedroom, one-bathroom design that will be built on the winner’s own block.

The home is from the Gem Series, which is from a range of homes designed with affordability, minimal maintenance and comfort in mind.

“If the lucky winner doesn’t want to build this design or it doesn’t suit their particular block, we can assist in looking at other homes in our extensive range,” Mr Stone said.

The concept behind the competition is that some things can only be done in your own home – paint a mural and own a pet are two examples given on the competition’s website – and asks entrants: “What would you do if you won a home of your own?”

Entry boxes are located in the builder’s display homes and as it’s stands at expos and shopping centres over the next six months. Entries will all go into a draw and the winner announced on December 15.

“What a fantastic Christmas present it will make for one lucky first-homebuyer,” Mr Stone said.
